Sichuan Chengyuan Chemical Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “The Company”) is a wholly-owned and one of subsidiary company of Ko Yo Group that is listed in Hong Kong. The company is established in July 1, 2002, with its business address in Mianzhu, Sichuan and registered capital of RMB 8 million.
The establishment of the company is for the sustainable development of its parent company Ko Yo Group in term of fertilizer business in country-wide as well as of the low-grade phosphorus mine in Mianzhu, Sichuan.
As early as in 2000, by its own investment, the company begun to explore the phosphorus mine that is located in Tianjin Groove, Longwang Temple, Qingping Village, Mianzhu City. From 2003 to 2007, after the completion of geological exploration work, the company dedicated to the processing technology research, expecting to find out a most efficient and environmental-protected method to treat the ore.
In response to the requirements from Mianzhu to the environmental protection and in order to avoid the gypsum stacking and pollution, the company even decided to abandon the wet-processing technology that was developed independently; after devoting more time, manpower and capital to the research, the company successes to discover a new processing technology by the co-development.
According to the results of pilot testing of the new processing technology, the board of directors of the company decided to use the new processing technology to treat its own phosphorous ore and develop the mine to produce relative phosphorous products by the way of the phase-by-phase. To the end, the company will make a modern production complex with annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of electronic-grade phosphoric acid, and in which it also can produce other grade of phosphoric acid and relative phosphates products in Mianzhu.
